Trademark registration process involves certain goods and services.

All goods and services are divided into classes by the World Intellectual Property Organization. In order to study and register a trademark in Russia it is necessary to choose classes that contain the products you produce and services you offer.

Example, if you:
-    manufacture footwear;
-   own a footwear store where you sell shoes of out-resourced manufacturers as well as your own;
-    And also offer footwear repair services;

then you should research and register trademark according to the following classes:
- Class 25 (footwear manufacturing)
- Class 35 (promotion of goods and services to 3rd party including bulk and retail trade)
- Class 40 (materials works and specifically footwear repair)
